A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE OF A BEQUEST FROM JOSEPH P. MCLAUGHLIN

WHEREAS, The City of Yonkers has been advised that Joseph P. McLaughlin, a former resident of the City of Yonkers, has left the City of Yonkers, and more specifically, the Peter Chema Senior Community Center through the Yonkers Office for the Aging, the value of One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) (the “Bequest”) from his estate; and
WHEREAS, acceptance of the Bequest requires no expenditure of City funds to make it operative; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Yonkers hereby accepts the Gift; and be it further
RESOLVED, that the Mayor and/or his designee is hereby authorized to execute any and all documents and take such actions as may be deemed necessary in furtherance hereof; and be it further
RESOLVED, that this Resolution shall take effect immediately.
