A SPECIAL ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE OF FUNDING FROM THE COUNTY OF WESTCHESTER IN THE AMOUNT OF $227,925 AND AMENDING THE CITY OF YONKERS GRANT BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 2025/26.

The City of Yonkers hereby ordains and enacts:

 

                     Section 1: The County of Westchester has authorized additional funding of $ $227,925, to the City of Yonkers, towards improvements to be made to the Hudson River Museum pursuant to that Certain Intermunicipal Agreement between the City and the County.

                     

                     Section 2:   The Mayor of the City or his authorized designee is hereby empowered to execute any and all instruments and take such other actions as may be necessary to effectuate the purposes hereof.

 

Section 3:   The City’s Grant Budget for fiscal year 2025/2026 is hereby amended by increasing revenues and appropriations for the Hudson River Museum, as follows:

                     Section 4: A review pursuant to the State Environmental Quality Review Act (“SEQRA”) and its implementing regulations, 6 NYCRR Part 617, was conducted as required by the original IMA, and the above change in scope and a negative declaration was issued thereto by Resolution No. 125-2018.

 

Section 5:  This ordinance shall take effect immediately.
