BY COUNCIL PRESIDENT COLLINS-BELLAMY, MAJORITY LEADER RUBBO, MAJORITY WHIP NORMAN, MINORITY LEADER BREEN, COUNCILMEMBERS, PINEDA-ISAAC, DIAZ AND HODGES:

RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Yonkers, in meeting assembled:
That the settlement by the Corporation Counsel in the amount of Twenty Thousand Dollars and 00/100 Cents ($20,000.00) of the action entitled, “Raquel Santos and Jassity Aponte (residing at 158-156 Woodworth Avenue, Yonkers, New York 10701), plaintiffs against THE CITY OF YONKERS, Defendant, et ano", for violation of civil rights arising out of an alleged incident on March 17, 2023, in the vicinity of 155 South Broadway, Yonkers, New York, be and the same hereby is approved and the Comptroller of the City of Yonkers is directed to draw his warrant in the amount of Twenty Thousand Dollars and 00/100 Cents ($20,000.00) in favor of said plaintiffs made payable to Omar Russo Law, PLLC, 300 Cadman Plaza West, 2th Floor, Brooklyn, New York 11202, as Attorneys for Raquel Santos and Jassity Aponte.
