A SPECIAL ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF THE SUMMER YOUTH EMPLOYMENT PROGRAM GRANT FROM THE WESTCHESTER COUNTY YOUTH BUREAU IN THE AMOUNT OF $16,667.67 AND AMENDING THE CITY OF YONKERS GRANT BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 2025-2026

The City of Yonkers hereby ordains and enacts:

 

                     Section 1: The Westchester County Youth Bureau has awarded a grant of $16,667.67 the Yonkers Youth Bureau, acting by and through the City of Yonkers Department of Parks, Recreation and Conservation (the “City”), for the Summer Youth Employment Program Grant.

 

                     Section 2:   The City is not required to provide a matching share. 

 

                     Section 3:  The above constitutes a “Type II” action under SEQRA and its implementing regulations, 6 NYCRR Part 617, which constitute an action determined not to have a significant effect on the environment and therefore requiring no further environmental review.

 

Section  4:   The Mayor of the City or his authorized designee is hereby empowered to execute any and all instruments and take such other actions as may be necessary to effectuate the purposes hereof.

 

Section 5:   The City’s Grant Budget for fiscal year 2025-26 is hereby amended by increasing revenues and appropriations for the Department of Parks, Recreation, and Conservation, as follows:
