RESOLUTION
BY COUNCIL PRESIDENT COLLINS-BELLAMY, MAJORITY LEADER RUBBO, MAJORITY WHIP ROBINSON, MINORITY LEADER BREEN, COUNCILMEMBERS PINEDA-ISAAC, DIAZ, AND HODGES:
RESOLVED, by the City Council of The City of Yonkers, in meeting assembled:
That the settlement by the Corporation Counsel in the amount of FIFTY TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS and 00/100 ($52,000.00) in the matter entitled LIBERTY MUTUAL FIRE INSURANCE CO A/S/O MARIA GOMEZ AND GINO GUGLIELMI (PIP), Plaintiff(s) v. THE CITY OF YONKERS Defendant(s), for personal injuries arising out of an incident on March 8, 2022 when a DPW vehicle rear-ended an Uber in which Maria Gomez and Gino Emanuel Gugliemi were passengers, be and the same hereby is approved, and the Comptroller of The City of Yonkers is directed to draw his warrant in the amount of FIFTY TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS and 00/100 ($52,000.00) in favor of said plaintiffs and their attorney Liberty Mutual Fire Insurance Company, 175 Berkeley Street, Boston, Massachusetts 02116.
