A SPECIAL ORDINANCE AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF YONKERS FOR THE 2025/2026 FISCAL YEAR IN RELATION TO THE ADDITION OF SIX NEW POSITIONS IN THE DEPARTMENT OF PARKS, RECREATION AND CONSERVATION.

The City of Yonkers in City Council convened, hereby ordains and enacts:
Section1. The budget for fiscal year 2025/2026 is hereby amended by the establishment of six new positions in the Department of Parks, Recreation and Conservation (“Parks”) as follows: 4 kennel aides, 2 kennel aide supervisors. This increases the number of Parks employees from 12 to 18, and the City’s overall employees from 2,095 to 2,101.
Section 2. The new positions are provided in the revised Position Schedule attached hereto.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect immediately.
