A SPECIAL ORDINANCE AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF YONKERS FOR THE 2026/2027 FISCAL YEAR IN RELATION TO THE ADDITION OF THREE NEW POSITIONS IN THE DEPARTMENT OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY.

The City of Yonkers in City Council convened, hereby ordains and enacts:
Section1. The budget for fiscal year 2026/2027 is hereby amended by the establishment of three new positions in the Department of Information Technology as follows: 3 PC Technician Trainees. This increases the number of Department of Technology employees from 47 to 50, and the City’s overall employees from 2,098 to 2,101.
Section 2. The new positions are provided in the revised Position Schedule attached hereto.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect immediately.
