BY COUNCIL PRESIDENT COLLINS-BELLAMY, MAJORITY LEADER RUBBO, MAJORITY WHIP NORMAN, MINORITY LEADER BREEN, COUNCIL MEMBERS PINEDA-ISAAC, DIAZ, AND HODGES:

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE OF A BEQUEST

WHEREAS, the Yonkers Animal Shelter (the “Shelter”) has been advised that Ingrid M. Uphoff, has left the Shelter a monetary gift in the amount of Five Thousand ($5,000) Dollars (the “Bequest”) from her estate, the Ingrid M. Uphoff Irrevocable Trust; and
WHEREAS, acceptance of the Bequest requires no expenditure of City funds to make it operative; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Yonkers hereby accepts the Gift; and
RESOLVED, that the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute any and all documents and take such actions as may be deemed necessary in furtherance hereof.
RESOLVED, that this Resolution shall take effect immediately.
