A SPECIAL ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE OF FEMA PUBLIC ASSISTANCE GRANT PROGRAM FOR THE ST VLADIMIR / CRESTWOOD SPILLWAY PROJECT IN THE AMOUNT OF $479,886 AND AMENDING THE CITY OF YONKERS GRANT BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 2025/2026.

The City of Yonkers in City Council convened, hereby ordains and enacts:
Section 1: The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) through its Public Assistance Grant has authorized grant funding of $479,886, to the City of Yonkers, acting by and through the City of Yonkers Engineering Department towards the St Vladimir / Crestwood Spillway Project, which has a total project estimate of $639,849.
Section 2: The City is required to provide a 25% match of $159,963.
Section 3: The above constitutes a "Type II" action under SEQRA and its implementing regulations, 6 NYCRR Part 617, which constitute an action determined not to have a significant effect on the environment and therefore requiring no further environmental review.
Section 4: The Mayor of the City or his authorized designee is hereby empowered to execute any and all instruments and take such other actions as may be necessary to effectuate the purposes hereof.
Section 5: The City's Grant Budget for fiscal year 2025/2026 is hereby amended by increasing revenues and appropriations for the Engineering Department, as follows:
