RESOLUTION
BY COUNCIL PRESIDENT COLLINS-BELLAMY, MAJORITY LEADER RUBBO, MAJORITY WHIP NORMAN, MINORITY LEADER BREEN, COUNCILMEMBERS, PINEDA -ISAAC, DIAZ AND MERANTE:

WHEREAS, Mayor Mike Spano has appointed Linda Liberatore, to the Planning Board, to replace Timothy Hodges, whose term expires on December 31, 2027; and
WHEREAS, Linda Liberatore is a life-long Yonkers resident with over twenty years of organizational management and leadership experience, and currently serves as the Director of Physician Relations for St. John’s Hospital in Yonkers;
WHEREAS, Linda Liberatore has years of experience in dealing with the needs of the public with issues that concern them: and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Charter of the City of Yonkers, the appointment of a member of the Planning Board of the City of Yonkers is subject to the advice and consent of the City Council; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City of Yonkers that the City Council approve the appointment of Linda Liberatore to the Planning Board of the City of Yonkers; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Yonkers City Council hereby gives its advice and consent to the appointment of Linda Liberatore, to the Planning Board, to fill a three-year term which will expires on December 31, 2027; and be it further
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this Resolution shall take effect immediately.
