A SPECIAL ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CITY OF YONKERS CAPITAL BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 2025/2026 BY INCREASING THE CAPITAL BUDGET BY $28,100,000

Recital
WHEREAS, as required by the Section C5-7(C) of the City Charter, the City Council held a public hearing on even date herewith to consider an amendment to the Capital Budget of the City of Yonkers for the fiscal year 2025/2026 on account of the energy efficiency measures to be implemented by the City as part of an agreement between the City and Honeywell International Inc. ; and
NOW THEREFORE,
The City of Yonkers, in City Council convened, hereby ordains and enacts:
Section 1: A Special Ordinance amending the Capital Budget for the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2025 and ending June 30, 2026, increasing the estimated total authorization set forth in said Capital Budget by Twenty-Eight Million One Hundred Thousand ($28,100,000) dollars, from One-Hundred Twenty Nine Million Nine Hundred Eighty Five Thousand and Twelve ($129,985,012) dollars, to One-Hundred Fifty Eight Million Eighty Five Thousand and Twelve ($158,085,012) dollars, which is hereby approved and adopted.
Section 2: The City of Yonkers Capital Budget for the fiscal year 2025/2026 is amended by adding/increasing the authorizations as set forth on Schedule “A” annexed hereto.
Section 3: This ordinance shall take effect immediately.
