A GENERAL ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 43 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF YONKERS KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE AND ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF YONKERS TO 1) ESTABLISH A "CASINO SPECIAL DISTRICT"; AND 2) CHANGE THE ZONE CLASSIFICATION OF 810 YONKERS AVENUE DESIGNATED ON THE CITY OF YONKERS TAX ASSESSMENT MAP AS SECTION 6, BLOCK 6125, LOTS 1, 2, AND 3 TO THE NEWLY ESTABLISHED CASINO SPECIAL DISTRICT.

The City of Yonkers, in the City Council convened, does hereby ordain and enact:
Section 1. Chapter 43 of the Code of the City of Yonkers, specifically Section 43-8 of the Zoning Code of the City of Yonkers entitled "Definitions of terms", is hereby amended, in part by the addition of new terms, in alphabetical order, to read as follows:

CASINO GAMING
The dealing, operating, carrying on, conducting, maintaining or exposing for pay of any banking or percentage game played with cards, dice, tiles, dominoes, or any electronic, electrical, or mechanical device or machine for money, property, or any representative of value.
DESTINATION RESORT CASINO
A mixed-use regional entertainment facility which includes casino gaming and may include video lottery gaming, sports betting, and entertainment and other uses as permitted by ? 43-253 of this chapter and subject to applicable State law and licensure.
VIDEO LOTTERY GAMING
The conduct and operation of State regulated lottery games played on a video lottery terminal that issues electronic tickets, allows multiple players to participate in the same game, and determines winners to a material degree upon the element of chance.
SPORTS BETTING
The conduct and operation of games of chance in which a player attempts to predict results in a sporting event and places a wager on the outcome.
