BY COUNCIL PRESIDENT COLLINS-BELLAMY, MAJORITY LEADER RUBBO, MAJORITY WHIP ROBINSON, MINORITY LEADER BREEN, COUNCILMEMBERS, PINEDA -ISAAC, DIAZ AND MERANTE:

RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Yonkers, in meeting assembled:
That the settlement by the Corporation Counsel in the amount of Forty Thousand Dollars and 00/100 Cents ($40,000.00) of the action entitled, “Roberto Rivera (residing at 70 Cornell Avenue, Yonkers, New York 10701), plaintiff against THE CITY OF YONKERS, Defendant", for personal injuries arising during a police incident by Yonkers Police on July 26, 2020, at 70 Cornell Avenue, Yonkers, NY., wherein police allegedly used excessive force by grabbing plaintiff’s arm resulting in a fractured forearm, be and the same hereby is approved and the Comptroller of the City of Yonkers is directed to draw his warrant in the amount of Forty Thousand Dollars and 00/100 Cents ($40,000.00) in favor of said plaintiff.
