BY CITY COUNCIL PRESIDENT COLLINS-BELLAMY, MAJORITY LEADER RUBBO, MAJORITY WHIP ROBINSON, MINORITY LEADER BREEN, COUNCIL MEMBERS DIAZ, PINEDA-ISAAC AND MERANTE:

A RESOLUTION RENEWING THE PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT WITH PKF O’CONNOR DAVIES, LLP TO CONDUCT INDEPENDENT AUDIT SERVICES.

WHEREAS, the City of Yonkers (the “City”) recognizes its valued past relationship with PKF O’Connor Davies, LLP, 500 Mamaroneck Avenue, Harrison, New York 10601 (the “Consultant”), as the independent auditor of the financial statements of the City; and
WHEREAS, the City is required to procure such independent auditing services; and
WHEREAS, the City finds that the Consultant, by virtue of its auditing expertise as well as its knowledge of the City, is particularly qualified to continue to provide independent auditing services to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City wishes to continue to retain the services of the Consultant as the independent auditor of the City’s June 30, 2025 and June 30, 2026 fiscal year financial statements, respectively;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the City hereby retains the Consultant and renews its professional services contract with the Consultant to conduct the annual independent audits of the City’s finances for the City’s fiscal years ending June 30, 2025 and June 30, 2026, respectively; and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED THAT, a copy of this resolution suitably engrossed be transmitted to the Consultant and the Commissioner of Finance of the City; and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED THAT, this resolution shall take effect immediately.
