RESOLVED, by the City Council of The City of Yonkers, in meeting assembled:

That the settlement by the Corporation Counsel in the amount of TWENTY THOUSAND DOLLARS and 00/100 ($20,000.00), in the matter entitled “HENRY AREVALO, Plaintiff, v. THE CITY OF YONKERS, THE CITY OF YONKERS POLICE DEPARTMENT AND THOMAS JACKSON, Defendants,” for personal injuries arising out of an incident on August 25, 2022, when an unmarked police vehicle driven by Police Officer Thomas Jackson came into contact with plaintiff’s vehicle on North Broadway at or near the intersection of Constant Ave., Yonkers, NY. PO Jackson was not responding to a call and did not have his lights/sirens on, causing personal injury to Plaintiff, and the same is hereby approved and the Comptroller of the City of Yonkers is directed to draw his warrant in the amount of Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00) in favor of said plaintiff and his attorneys HACH & ROSE, LLP, 112 Madison Avenue, 10th Floor, Yonkers, New York 10016.
