RESOLVED, by the City Council of The City of Yonkers, in meeting assembled:
That the settlement by the Corporation Counsel in the amount of ONE HUNDRED-FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS and 00/100 ($105,000.00) in the matter entitled “MARIA GOMEZ and GINO EMANUEL GUGLIELMI, Plaintiff(s) v. THE CITY OF YONKERS and NICHOLAS VEZUTTO Defendant(s),” for personal injuries arising out of an incident on March 8, 2022 when the vehicle in which the two plaintiffs were riding as back seat passengers on Roberts Avenue and stopped at a traffic light at Nepperhan Avenue, was struck from behind by a City construction vehicle, be and the same hereby is approved, and the Comptroller of The City of Yonkers is directed to draw his three separate warrants, the first in favor of “Scott Baron & Associates, P.C., as Attorneys for Maria Gomez” in the amount of FORTY THOUSAND DOLLARS and 00/100 ($40,000.00) to be paid on or before October 31, 2024; the second warrant to be in favor of “Scott Baron & Associates, P.C., as Attorneys for Gino Emanuel Guglielmi” in the amount of FORTY THOUSAND DOLLARS and 00/100 ($40,000.00) to be paid on or before October 31, 2024; and the third warrant to be in favor of “Scott Baron & Associates, P.C., as Attorneys for Gino Emanuel Guglielmi” in the amount of TWENTY-FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS and 00/100 ($25,000.00) to be paid on or before September 1, 2025.
