RESOLUTION SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING FOR OCTOBER 22, 2024 AT 7:00 P.M. PURSUANT TO SECTION C5-7(C) IN RELATION TO AMENDING THE CITY OF YONKERS CAPITAL BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 2024/2025.

WHEREAS, the City of Yonkers proposes to amend the Capital Budget for the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2024 and ending June 30, 2025, by increasing the estimated total authorization set forth in said Capital Budget by Three Million ($3,000,000) Dollars, from Sixty-Eight Million Five Hundred Eighty-Three Thousand Eighty-Six ($68,583,086) Dollars, to Seventy-One Million Five Hundred Eighty-Three Thousand Eighty-Six ($71,583,086) Dollars; and
WHEREAS, the City of Yonkers Capital Budget is further being amended by adding the project entitled “Design of Grant Park School” to its list of projects;
WHEREAS, the proposed amendments requires a public hearing to be held prior to its adoption;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Yonkers hereby calls for a public hearing at 7:00PM, on the 22nd day of October 2024, in the City Hall of City of Yonkers New York, for all interested persons to be heard in favor of or in opposition to the proposed Capital Budget amendment; and be it further
RESOLVED, that this resolution shall take effect immediately.
